Privacy Policy
Effective date: 4 October 2026
In short: this website does not use cookies, does not run analytics, ads or trackers, has no forms or accounts, and does not collect, sell or share your personal information.
1. Who we are
This policy covers (a) this website and (b) "Airsoft Ghost Uploader", a private software tool used to manage the Airsoft Ghost YouTube channel. Both are operated by the independent creator behind the Airsoft Ghost YouTube channel, based in Israel ("Airsoft Ghost", "we", "us"). Contact: dira85783 [at] gmail.com.
2. Information collected on this website
We collect no personal information directly. The site uses no cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, forms, accounts or embedded third-party content.
Hosting: the site is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). To deliver and secure the service, GitHub may automatically process technical data such as your IP address and request details, as described in the GitHub General Privacy Statement. We do not receive or use those logs to identify visitors.
3. If you contact us
If you email us, we use your name, email address and message only to reply and to handle your request. We keep it only as long as needed for that purpose (or as required by law) and then delete it. We do not share it, except where required by law.
4. YouTube and other linked sites
Links to YouTube, GitHub and other sites are governed by those sites' own policies. When you watch, comment on or subscribe to the Airsoft Ghost channel, that data is processed by YouTube/Google under the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy, not by us. As channel owner we can only see what YouTube makes available to creators, such as public comments, public usernames and aggregated, anonymized analytics.
5. Airsoft Ghost Uploader — use of Google user data
Who uses it: only the channel operator, signing in with the operator's own Google account. It is not offered to the public, and it does not access any other person's Google account data.
What it accesses and why — via Google OAuth 2.0, the YouTube Data API v3 and the YouTube Analytics API, with these scopes:
| Scope | What it allows |
|---|---|
| youtube | Manage the operator's own channel: video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists and comment replies. |
| youtube.upload | Upload videos to the operator's own channel. |
| youtube.readonly | Read the operator's own channel and video information. |
| yt-analytics.readonly | View the operator's own channel analytics reports. |
| yt-analytics-monetary.readonly | View the operator's own channel revenue reports. |
How it is used: only to upload, schedule and manage videos, playlists and comment replies on the Airsoft Ghost channel, and to read that channel's own analytics to improve its content.
Storage and security: OAuth tokens are stored only on the operator's own computer, protected by its operating-system account. They are not stored on any server, and are sent only to Google, over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Sharing: Google user data is not sold, rented or traded; is not shared with third parties except service providers processing it on the operator's behalf to perform the functions above; is not used for advertising; is not used to determine credit-worthiness or for lending; and is not used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Airsoft Ghost Uploader's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Airsoft Ghost Uploader uses YouTube API Services. Use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion: authorization tokens are kept until access is revoked. Data retrieved from the APIs is kept only as long as needed to manage the channel. If access is revoked, data stored through that authorization is deleted within 7 days.
Revoking access: at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
6. Children
This website and the channel's content are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, Israel's Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981, or the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data-protection authority (in Israel, the Privacy Protection Authority).
Because we hold almost no personal information, most requests are simple: email dira85783 [at] gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
8. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests (operating and securing the website, answering messages), your consent (when you choose to contact us), and compliance with legal obligations.
9. International transfers
GitHub and Google may process data in the United States and other countries, under their own safeguards described in their privacy statements.
10. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS and is designed to collect as little data as possible. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect any information we hold.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top always shows the latest version; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
